Connect with friends and get your sense of self back with doable self-care strategies.

Author Lorrie Forde invites you to break all the old rules about not writing in books—this one is yours to write in, reflect back on, and share as you choose. Make it work for you! This is not another thing to add to your ‘to-do’ list. Let the pages do the work and before you know it, you’ll be laughing with friends, reconnecting with your passion, and the envy of your peers as you figure out what ‘feeds you’ and where your ‘weak spots’ are. How long will it take till you’re using “F” words all the time and your cookie jar is overflowing? Analogies like this cookie jar and using really good “F” words help us to laugh at reality and a little laughter really can make all the difference.

Book Review

Disclaimer: I received a complimentary copy of Really Good F Words: Your Interactive Guide to Self-Care by Lorrie Forde in exchange for an honest review.

It is my pleasure to have an opportunity to read and review Really Good F Words by Lorrie Forde.

Ms. Forde presented a challenge to my regimented world right away by asking that I allow myself to write in a book. I am most happy to keep a notebook separate from my “study guides” but in my more than half century of living, I haven’t been able to bring myself to write in them. I realize this may be a block that I need further work on.

Reading Really Good F Words has given me another tool to work from a place of darkness and fear to a place of fearlessness and fulfillment along with a close group of friends that I’ve learned to trust.

I don’t think I’ve been taking the time to realize how much I give away without filling up. I’m looking forward to introducing Really Good F Words to my friends and encouraging a group study!

I recommend Really Good F Words by Lorrie Forde to anyone looking to turn further in to a positive, fulfilled lifestyle!

I give Really Good F Words four cups of froth-filled Room With Books coffee.

    Hi Patricia,
Thanks so much for your review and I look forward to hearing from you and your group of friends as you have fun with the self-care focused conversations Really Good F Words will encourage.

I appreciated hearing your honest acknowledgment at the challenge writing in a book presents for you. I share that challenge – perhaps it is part of the reason I included that activity in the book. It has been said that life begins at the edge of our comfort zone so I look for the edges of mine on a regular basis. 🙂

    Thanks again,
    Lorrie Forde
