The Unlikeable Demon Hunter Book Blast @wildeauthor @GoddessFish

The Unlikeable Demon Hunter

by Deborah Wilde

GENRE: Urban Fantasy Romance

Bridesmaids meets Buffy.

The ago-old story of what happens when a foul-mouthed, romance impaired heroine with no edit button and a predilection for hot sex is faced with her worst nightmare–a purpose.

Ari Katz is intelligent, driven, and will make an excellent demon hunter once initiated into the Brotherhood of David. However, this book is about his twin Nava: a smart-ass, self-cultivated hot mess, who is thrilled her brother is stuck with all the chosen one crap.

When Nava half-drunkenly interrupts Ari’s induction ceremony, she expects to be chastised. What she doesn’t expect is to take her brother’s place among the–until now–all-male demon hunters. Even worse? Her infuriating leader is former rock star Rohan Mitra, whose sudden retirement in his early twenties now seems a lot less mysterious.

Convinced that her twin still has a shot at his destiny, Nava hatches a plan to convince the Brotherhood to bring the other Katz sibling into the fold. It’s too bad Rohan’s guarding her so closely that she might not be able to put it into action.

And it’s really too bad Rohan’s exactly what Nava’s always wanted: the perfect bad boy fling with no strings attached, because he may also be the one to bring down her carefully erected emotional shields. That’s as dangerous as all the evil fiends vying for the bragging rights of killing the only female ever chosen for Demon Club–or the one demon in particular out for payback.

Odds of survival: eh.

Odds of having a very good time with Rohan before she bites it: much better.

The maybe-demon from Josh’s alleyway was back, having stopped about five feet away and triggering the motion sensor. What with Josh’s sister trying to kill me and all, he’d fallen off my radar.

Aloe gooped over my fingers, having clutched the frond hard enough to break it, and my terror and an intense curiosity resurfaced. There was no denying his compelling presence. Plus, he had those long lashes that were my Kryptonite. I opened my mouth to scream. Or drool.

He held a finger up to his delectable lips to keep me quiet, circling me with lazy strides, checking me out.

I’d have been offended by the blatant appraisal except under his intense scrutiny, I lit up with an electric zing. I found myself stroking the aloe stalks in an obscene manner. Even knowing he couldn’t see my blush since I was in the shadows didn’t kill my utter mortification at jerking off plant life in not-so-subtextual yearning.

He stalked toward me, his leather jacket rustling with each step.

I held up a hand to stop him, the faintest electric crackle pulsing off my skin.

He didn’t stop, didn’t slow. In fact, he kept up his steady approach until his hand covered mine. My magic shocked us both at his touch. I gasped and shivered as pleasure, not pain, rumbled through me.

Hand still clasped in his, he stared at me suspiciously, instead of in fear, but had I wanted, I could have broken his hold. Not a demon, then? He fingered the thin silver necklace I wore with surprising gentleness, toying with the cute floral pendant dangling off it that read “I will kick you in the balls if I have to.”

“Should I be scared?” Given how he sounded like sex, sin, and salaciousness–the true definition of a triple threat–I decided that yes, he was most definitely a demon.

I met his mocking gaze, my rooted stance and beating heart placing me somewhere between morbid fascination and noping the hell out at warp speed.

A global wanderer, hopeless romantic, and total cynic with a broken edit button, Deborah writes adult urban fantasy to satisfy her love of smexy romances and tales of chicks who kick ass. She is all about the happily-ever-after, with a huge dose of hilarity along the way. “It takes a bad girl to fight evil. Go Wilde.”

BURIED DOLLS Blurb Blitz @GoddessFish

Buried Dolls

by Lynn Hones

GENRE: YA paranormal/romance

Jody had the misfortune of breaking her ankle. The only available apartment to convalesce in is a derelict mansion just outside of town. The tenants prefer to keep to themselves except when sneaking strange dolls into her rooms. Suffering from loss of memory after a horrific event destroyed her biological family, Jody clutches at straws trying to find out who she is and why some people in the house leave her clues to get out or get murdered. Find out if Jody regains her memory, what happened to her family and who, among her friends, is actually her enemy, working to see her killed.

It seemed odd that this lonely old spinster would go to such trouble to hide a note in the book, simply telling her to enjoy it. Ohjeita. He aikovat tappaa sinut jälleen. Slowly she typed the letters in one at a time. Such a strange language, she thought. When finished, she hit the translate button, and put her hand to her mouth. There in English it read, Get help. They are going to kill you. “What?” she said out loud. “What is wrong with this woman?” Jody pushed her blankets aside and stood. She slowly walked into the living room to double check that her front door was locked and bolted. One could never be too safe. And she was more afraid of Mrs. Junhuton than anyone or anything else. Slowly she walked back into the room and lay down. In between the space of wakefulness and sleep, at a time she reserved for thoughts of what was and what will be, she noticed a crack in the wallpaper. A small, fine line that needed further investigation. She opened her eyes and turned on the light. She followed that crack and rose and scooted over toward the end of her bed so she could reach its craggy edge. She ran her fingers along it. Upon further investigation she noticed there was another similar crack running parallel to that one and she saw one about two feet perpendicular to it. A door.

Lynn Hones has been married for 28 years and is mother to two lovely daughters. She has two rescued cats and two dogs who are so big she calls them livestock. She lives in a large, drafty old home on the shores of Lake Erie and loves nothing better than grabbing an armful of books and heading to the beach. She combs the beaches for beach glass and makes jewelry out of it Living in a historic harbor town, she has lots of inspiration for her books. Case File Phantom Book Tour @GoddessFish

Case File Phantom

by Dana Ford

GENRE: Mystery Fiction

In this mystery fiction novel, Georgia Richards lost hope of ever seeing her husband again since he disappeared over a year ago.  On a Saturday afternoon, she thought she saw him at a play; on stage at the Oaksdale Playhouse.  But, Georgia didn’t have the courage to find out if it was really him.  Constance McCauley was empathetic to Georgia’s faint of heart and decided to offer her investigation services to find the true identity of this mysterious man.  Would Constance be able to track down Georgia’s estranged husband?  If he was found, why had he been missing for over a year?  As Constance pursued this case with a combination of faith and persistence, she witnessed the power of forgiveness unfold before her eyes.

AMAZON

It was beautiful inside.  The space quaint, low lighting, enough ambience to make a lucrative business deal or extend a marriage proposal.   Thanks to Troy making reservations, we were seated right away in a cozy booth for two.  Sean placed a marketing folder on the table next to his place setting.  “I’m looking forward to talking about what we can do for your company.”  He said.  His eyes were naturally a darker brown in this low lighting.  I smiled, thankful for the distraction of the waiter.

“Would you care for some wine?” The waiter asked pleasantly.

“None for me, thank you.”  I replied.

“I’ll take a glass of your best red wine.” Sean responded.

“Very good sir.”

Sean jumped right in.  “Did Alex talk to you about all of our services or did he just focus on one aspect of what we do, like print advertising?”

“Well, I actually did not tell you the whole truth about Alex and I.”

Sean perked up to listen.

“I do own a private investigation firm, but I never met Alex through your company.”  The waiter returned with Sean’s glass of wine and sparkling water for me.  We both ordered their chef’s special pasta with a salad.

“Oh.”  Sean thought for a moment.

“But, tell me.  What services do you have?”  I asked.  I actually did want to know.

Until dinner arrived, Sean presented all of the details that were included in the marketing folder that he had brought.  He pitched ways to expose my business from print advertising, to social media strategies.  “Are you interested in pursuing any of these marketing approaches?”  He asked, knowing that he was one of the best salesmen on the Brown & Edwards sales team.

Taking a look over all of the amazing food that was just placed on our table, I also considered the marketing services that Sean had presented.  “Let me think about it.”  I responded.

“You had the same hesitation when we met the other day.  What exactly are you thinking about?”  He returned like a true salesman.

It is my pleasure to feature Dana Ford, author of Case File Phantom, on Room With Books.

Please tell us about yourself.

Did you always want to be a writer? If not what did you want to be?

I have been writing stories since I was in elementary school. My best friend and I would have sleepovers and write short stories through the night.  Her reaction to my writing encouraged me to become a writer.

Do you do a job in addition to writing and would you tell us more about it?

I write for fun on my spare time, usually on the weekends.  I also have a day job in a large corporation.

How would you summarize this book in less than 20 words?

Twists and turns that keep you reading laced with a lesson in forgiveness and learning how to forget the past.

Now, let’s talk about writing and how you came to be a published author.

When did you first consider yourself a “writer”?

I have been writing for fun since elementary school, also was a journalist for my local newspaper.

How long did it take to get your first book published?

The publishing process took about 4-6 months.

How long does it usually take you to write a book, from the original idea to “The End”?

That depends in a variety of factors, how much time can be dedicated to writing, how developed the plot is, or how easy is it to find your “mojo”.  When all of the above is clicking for me, I have finished a book in 6-8 months.

What can we expect from you in the future? More of the same genre? Books of a different genre?

The next novel is another case file.  The plot for this one is introduced in the last chapter of Case File Phantom.

Who is your favorite character from your books and why are they your favorite?

In Case File Phantom, my favorite character is Michael Woods.  He is authentic, compassionate, and a great friend.

What is your routine for writing?

Writing for me is fun.  I usually write on the weekends while at home.  I can be in any room to write and prefer to be near a window with natural light coming through.

Do you choose a title first, or write the book then choose the title?

It depends.  The titles for my books have come randomly.  Sometimes before I begin writing, or while I’m writing.

Are there any hidden messages or morals contained in your books?

The hidden message in this book is the power of forgiveness.

Which format of book do you prefer, eBook, hardback, or paperback?

Paperback

Do you read all the reviews of your books?

Yes

That’s enough of the serious business. How about a handful of fun questions?

What is your favorite food? I don’t have a favorite food, but my favorite meal of the day is breakfast.

Who is your favorite singer or group? Whitney Houston

What is your favorite color? Purple

What is your ideal getaway dream vacation? A couples’ resort with my husband – anywhere.

Thank you for spending time with us at Room With Books. I appreciate your time and wish you the best with your book. I hope you will come back again!

Dana Ford has enjoyed writing stories since she can remember.  She has penned several books and has found a new love in writing mystery fiction.  Her favorite hobbies besides writing is watching old movies, volunteering in her community, and spending precious moments with her family.

It Started With A Kiss Book Blast @ellaquinnauthor @goddessfish

It Started With a Kiss

by Ella Quinn

GENRE: Historical Romance

What is a young Worthington woman to do when the man of her dreams is not who she thinks he is?

This season, all eyes are on the Earl of Worthington’s spirited, beautiful sister, Lady Louisa Vivers. Many gentlemen are vying for her attention in and around the ton. Yet, Louisa longs for someone who can take her beyond the ballroom—a man who is worldly, adventurous, and passionate. She won’t settle for just any suitor. She wants her true soul mate—and she’ll know him when she sees him.

Is Gideon, the Duke of Rothwell, him? The moment he and Louisa meet, they share a powerful attraction. Rides at sunrise and waltzes at dusk follow. Finally, Gideon can no longer resist the urge to embrace her, and Louisa is sure he will ask for her hand. But Gideon believes he is in no position to marry. The Rothwell estate has gone bankrupt, a scandal simmers in its wake, and he has nothing left to offer. Now, he must decide if he will let pride stand in the way of true love—or if he will risk everything, and let the lady decide for herself…

“Rothwell.”

A pair of showy dark bay horses drew even with him, followed by an extremely fashionable curricle.

“Bentley.” Resisting the urge to smile, Gideon raised his quizzing glass, reviving a long-standing joke between him and his cousin. “When are you going to learn to select decent horseflesh?”

“If you really cared,” Bentley retorted, “you would have been here to help me, and not off in Canada dressing in bearskins or whatever it is you wore over there.”

The carriage came to a stop.

“Harrumph,” Gideon scoffed. “While you are here and obviously have nothing better to do, I would appreciate a ride to Doctors’ Common.” He needed to tell Templeton about this latest development. Not waiting for his cousin to answer, Gideon climbed onto the curricle. “You may also tell me what is so urgent I must drop everything and come to Town immediately. As it is, you’ve left me kicking my heels for two days.”

Bentley started the horses, but immediately turned to face Gideon and dropped his ribbons.

“Watch what you’re doing!” He grabbed the reins from his cousin’s slack fingers.

“Blast. I forgot.”

Bentley reached for the ribbons, but Gideon shook his head. “I think I’ll keep them until you’re finished.”

His cousin heaved a sigh worthy of Drury Lane. “I am in love, and I need help convincing her to marry me.”

Gideon loved his cousin like a brother, but he had no idea how he could assist in matters of the heart. Then again . . . “Happy to do whatever I can. Who is the lucky woman?”

“Didn’t I tell you?” Bentley asked, surprised.

“No,” Gideon replied with all the patience he could muster. “I received a letter from you telling me you needed my help, but you failed to give the reason.”

“You probably don’t know her in any event. She came out just this year.”

He raised a brow, hoping to hurry his cousin along.

“Lady Louisa Vivers.” Bentley said her name as if she was the sum of all his dreams.

Hell and damnation! Could my luck get any worse?

When Fate Decides Book Tour #authorTriciaMcGill @GoddessFish

When Fate Decides

by Tricia McGill

GENRE: Contemporary Romance

BLURB

For too long Tessa has seen herself as plain and dowdy, just an ordinary suburban housewife. With her confidence eroded after being married to a bully who humiliated her at every opportunity, why wouldn’t she presume she was unattractive, and someone no man would find the least bit worth bothering with?

But now Tessa is a widow, and relishing her new state of independence. Her world is turned upside down by Jack Delaney, a man she spent hours fantasizing over when he worked for her husband. A man who gave her a deliciously secret outlet from her miserable marriage. When Jack enters her life again, professing he finds her attractive, why would she believe him? Especially as he is now wealthy, successful, still extremely handsome, and to add to that, years younger than her.

EXCERPT

What difference did it make if she looked all of her forty-five years? So what if she wore the grubbiest clothes she possessed? What was she thinking of? He must be a good fifteen years her junior. And, she recalled with a sinking heart, married, probably with half a dozen children by now. She remembered thinking then that he was far too young to be married and wondered if perhaps he’d been pressed into marrying because his wife was pregnant—often the cause of youthful marriages.

A vivid picture of a dark curly-haired boy with his father’s soft eyes and cheeky grin came to mind, and something gave inside her.

Disclaimer: I received a complimentary copy of RUN TO HER by Lynn Kellan for the purpose of an honest review.

It is always a pleasure to read a well written novel, and RUN TO HER by Lynn Kellan did not disappoint!

Ms. Kellan has written more than a boy meets girl, you know the rest right up until the HEA! She has written a story with heart, and hurt, and second chances. RUN TO HER feels incredibly real and was very hard to put down!

The realities of PTSD and it’s affects on those who suffer is not lost on me, as I’m all to familiar with those symptoms. Ms. Kellan handles it very honestly, without sensationalizing it.

I highly recommend RUN TO HER by Lynn Kellan and give it five steaming hot cups of Room With Books coffee!

A fat raindrop splattered on the porch screen. And another. Tiny fragments of water landed on Leigh’s shoulder like little kisses. A shiver trickled across her back, forcing her to step toward the center of the porch to avoid getting wet.

The carefree humor fled from his expression. His gaze dropped to the tips of her toes and slowly rose up her legs, her body, her face. Gabe locked eyes with her, reached out, and opened his hand.

An invitation.

She gazed at his broad palm and dark memories rose, fueled by a violent incident that flashed through her mind whenever a big man got close…but this man was different. Gabe used his considerable strength to protect, not dominate. Months ago, he’d pulled off the Interstate to help her when no one else had. After that, he’d showed up to run with her when no one else would. And a few minutes ago, he’d tamed his powerful Harley so she’d enjoy the ride when no one else seemed to care if she had any fun. Even tiny things like ladybugs received his special brand of kindness.

She had no reason to believe Gabe would willfully hurt her. Even so, her heart tripped at the sight of the thick rope of muscle along his arm.

Lynn Kellan writes contemporary romance about strong men who have a weakness for smart women. She believes men and women aren’t that different, because everyone wants to be with someone who will empty the dishwasher. To prepare for her career as a romance author, she fell in love with bad boys, burly athletes, battle-hardened Marines…and married a chemist. Lynn has won numerous writing contests and served two terms as President of her local Romance Writers of America chapter, but she feels a true sense of accomplishment whenever she doesn’t embarrass her teenaged kids.

For love. For funny. For ever.

*****

Please enjoy DEADLY DELUSIONS which is Book Two in the medical and personal adventures of medical student Annabel Tilson. Book One is DEAD STILL. Each book is also a standalone novel.

Annabel’s novels are a spinoff from her father’s series, The Dr. Danny Tilson Novels, especially Book Four – Secondary Impact. Those books are:

Book One: Operation Neurosurgeon

Book Two: Silent Fear: a Medical Mystery (also an audiobook)

Book Three: Collateral Circulation: a Medical Mystery (also an audiobook)

Book Four: Secondary Impact suspense/thriller

Disclaimer: I received a complimentary copy of Deadly Delusions by Barabara Ebel, M.D. for the purpose of an honest review.

It was my pleasure to read and review Deadly Delusions by Barabara Ebel, M.D.! I will look in on Dr. Ebel’s previously published novels and keep a keen eye open for her future works.

The writing in Deadly Delusions by Barabara Ebel, M.D. is very fast paced. The pace ensures the reader doesn’t become lost in the medical details that could, otherwise, become very cumbersome.

The rotation of medical students through a psychiatry unit is very thought-provoking. Dr. Ebel writes of medical situations, but keeps her characters believable and down-to-earth. I feel quite certain that this cast of characters has appeared, at least in part, in Dr. Ebel’s medical training and career somewhere along the way!

It is my pleasure to give Deadly Delusions by Barabara Ebel, M.D. five steaming hot cups of Room With Books coffee!

Annabel smiled. “Correct,” Selina said and leaned forward. “Now, tell us more about your background. Can you remember being involved with team sports or having many friends five or ten years ago?”

Victor raised his eyebrows in surprise. “I had a skateboard when I was little but stopped riding it. Later, I watched other kids play basketball. At first I wanted to shoot baskets like them but then I was unmotivated and they pretended I wasn’t on the spectator’s bench.”

“What about friends outside of basketball?”

Victor twitched one shoulder. “Nah. Over time, I was different from everybody at school. It was easier to go home where my mother let me buy turtles at first. Afterwards, I had two gerbils. Of course, I switched later to other things.”

Annabel made another key point for her ongoing paper project. ‘Progressive social isolation.’

“Having pets taught you to care for other living things,” Selina said, “so I’m glad you mother allowed you to keep them. Perhaps through the group therapy sessions, you can talk more at ease with patients like yourself. It’s a start … to be less withdrawn. Engaging in some activities with family or friends is productive and keeps patients like you centered in the real world.”

“Okay, doc.” He stood up. “I want to come back on Wednesday for that. Can I go now?”

“Yes, Victor, you may take off. Keep up the good work.”

“Good bye,” Annabel said. “Thanks for helping me with my education.”

Victor smiled. “As long as you don’t make fun of me,” he said.

“Never,” Annabel replied.

“You can write the update,” Dr. Keeton said when Victor left, “and I’ll sign the progress note if it meets with my approval. Our star paranoid schizophrenic is managing his illness.”

Annabel felt confident her note would be worthy of Selina’s signature.

Barbara’s Ebel’s writing draws heavily from her experience as an anesthesiologist. As a physician, speaker, and former chemist, she sprinkles credible medicine into the background of her fiction where plots and vivid characters take center stage and her O.R. scenes shine.

She penned the Dr. Danny Tilson novels before the Annabel Tilson novels DEAD STILL and DEADLY DELUSIONS. Her Dr. Danny Tilson novels have received a multitude of accolades including but not limited to: Collateral Circulation was the National Indie Excellence Award 2015 Finalist for medical thrillers and Operation Neurosurgeon was the top finalist for best-selling medical mystery books in 2012. Worlds Reclaimed Book Blast @MundyMaggie @GoddessFish

Worlds Reclaimed

by Maggie Mundy

GENRE: Paranormal Romance

Clare and her group of vampires, fae and werewolves want to live on Earth. To do that, they must heal the worlds they have been visiting through the portals.

Vesi, is an albino vampire and Heln, is a white werewolf. Neither has been accepted by their people. This unlikely couple tries to fight their growing attraction to each other while helping to save two worlds.

On one world, a mist is closing in so nothing will survive. On the other, the High Priestess Sari is at war. Her power is failing and she wants to use Vesi’s blood so she can live forever.

Can Heln save his love and help his friends save both worlds. Will their group ever get to Earth?

Vesi could sense, as always, when the sun was going down. Like all bloodsuckers, she could survive in daylight, but her skin would burn and the recovery was slow and painful. Her body was always cool, but she could detect the dip in the temperature outside the barn as the sun dipped below the horizon. She could also still feel the heat of the werewolf Heln, who cradled her back.

This new world seemed to be bringing more surprises than she expected. She thought back to the first time she had seen Heln in the Temple of Paqua. She had felt he was the only person in the room. It was as if no one else existed and her body had yearned for him. She was no prude and had taken many human partners over the years, but this strong urge was new to her.

She had never understood why the other bloodsuckers saw the werewolf clans as subhuman, and playthings for their entertainment. She would never kill anyone or anything for sport. What she was considering now was different. The thought of mating with this werewolf was enticing. What concerned her was that the imprinting was for life, and she was not sure she was ready for that kind of commitment. Then again wasn’t it what she and Torvan had wanted. For now she would just enjoy the closeness of another person.

Maggie Mundy lives in Australia and is a member of Romance Writers of Australia. She recently completed a Bachelor of Arts in Drama and English at Flinders University. She had a short story published in the RWA Topaz Anthology Little Gems in 2010 called Sea and Vines. She has four books with Rogue Phoenix Press. Two erotic novellas called Blood Scent and Blood Oath and two paranormal romances called World Change and World Apart.

She has also performed for many years in corporate entertainment for which she wrote her own sketches, which probably explains why her head is so full of characters. She loves writing romance but thinks falling in love can be scary, especially in her stories where creatures of the night exist.

Prism Release Day Book Blast @MatthewDRyan1 @GoddessFish

Prism

by Matthew D. Ryan

GENRE: Fantasy

In the mystical realm of the Cavern, Akarra is Shardshaper to the quartzian people who inhabit it. Fashioned from quartz and filled with enchanted light, the quartzians are a strong and hearty people. Akarra is no exception. But when destiny intervenes, she must choose between the he-quartz she loves and the life path she lives for. Which shall she choose?

Yridia produced another crystal: a clump of cracked, twisted quartz. She placed it in front of Akarra and said, “I want you to shape this crystal into an icosahedron. Work quickly. Now, go.”

Akarra blanched: An icosahedron was the most complicated perfect solid known. It was a quasi-spherical shape consisting of twenty identical triangular sides. A correctly formed icosahedron would fit in a perfect sphere in such a way that every vertex of every triangle would just touch the inner surface of the sphere. Actually, that was true of all perfect solids.

Akarra lifted the Shard and pointed the flat face of one of its triangular faces towards the clump of crystal. She bowed her head in concentration, summoning the power of her will. Her mind reached into the Shard; she could sense the Bond it had made with Yridia. The Bond inhibited Akarra’s control of the Heartshard, but not entirely: she could still harness the power of the Shard, just at a less effective level. She did so, and the Shard began to glow in her hands. First it glowed red, pulsing with energy, temperature rising. Next, orange, and the temperature began to drop. Next, yellow and a flash of cold. The other colors followed in turn: green, blue, indigo, violet, and then finally, it went clear. She sensed the presence of deathlight, and saw it in her mind’s eye although her normal vision failed her. She discharged a thick beam of deathlight focused on the lump of crystal. Immediately, the crystal began to morph and ripple.

Fearless Destiny Review Tour @GoddessFish

Fearless Destiny

by Annette Bower

GENRE: Romantic Mainstream

From the Romance Review Readers Choice nominee, Annette Bower, comes a new small town romance, Fearless Destiny. Tiffany George, riding high on her commission as a fresco artist, returns home for some deserved rest and relaxation.

The drive is uneventful until she rescues Will Cleaver on the side of a highway. While savoring memories of a kiss and a well formed butt, her future goals do not include a romance.

Once in town, she discovers the hopes and dreams of her community hinge on the development of a new resource mine and Will Cleaver’s designed neighborhood. Her parents demand she give up art and resume her working partner role in the family business. Tiffany George is pulled by her community roots and stretched by her newly discovered independence.

Will Cleaver knows about taking charge of destiny. He models the courage she uses to become the woman she needs to be.

“Tiffany, you’ve been away.” Mayor Robert stepped forward and turned Tiffany toward the model. “This is our town after the urban development is completed.” He put his finger on the cenotaph. “The new neighborhood is here on this land, with access to hiking paths, the park, and further along the street are the new family homes. And here’s the new school and a new community hall.” Mayor Robert spoke slowly, providing time for Tiffany to absorb all the changes that had been planned for Apex. “Then of course there will be infill. Some of the older places will be torn down and new buildings taking their place.” Mayor Robert nodded. “Everything and everyone needs to adjust.” He kept his arm securely around Tiffany’s shoulder like a kindly uncle. “Nikki is the construction engineer. She’s responsible for the infrastructure. She knows how large our lagoon and water supply will have to be.”

Although Nikki was talking to Will, he watched Tiffany.

Mayor Robert gulped a deep breath. “I’m surprised your parents didn’t mention anything. Or you haven’t been watching our Facebook page or Twitter account.”

“Facebook page? Twitter account?” Tiffany frowned. “It feels as if I left home and returned to a strange place.” She stared at the three-dimensional model on the table in a makeshift office. “We can’t stand still,” Mayor Robert said. “I hear you haven’t.”

Disclaimer: I received a complimentary copy of Fearless Destiny by Annette Bower in exchange for an honest review.

It is my pleasure to read and review Fearless Destiny by Annette Bower. First of all, this book has to be appreciated since there is virtually no profanity. That alone makes me want to recommend this book highly.

The characters written by Ms. Bower are very strong, even amazing I would say. They carry the story line very easily. As one that is disabled myself, I admire an author willing to write characters that others might consider “less than perfect”.

This is the first book I’ve read by this author, but I will be digging myself into her other books very soon!

I am very pleased to offer Fearless Destiny by Annette Bower five steaming hot cups of Reviews by Room With Books coffee.
