Secrets and Tears Book Review @DoriLavelle
This book should be read after Secrets and Lace (Fatal Hearts 1). Available here: http://amzn.to/1Uc7E2Y.
Chloe thought her life was a fairy tale about to happen. Until her worst nightmare walked back into her life, shattering her dreams.
Now he’s holding her captive on a private yacht, intent on punishing her for mistakes she made in the past. His revenge involves torture and humiliation, and he will not stop until there’s nothing left of her.
He loves her. He loathes her.
He’s an angel. He’s a monster…the devil in disguise.
He’s her savior. He’s her deadliest enemy.
Can Chloe’s fragile strength save her before he strips her completely of her freedom, reputation, sanity, and life?
Fatal Hearts is a serial that unfolds over three volumes.
**WARNING: This book contains dark themes, including violence of a sexual and physical nature that could trigger emotional distress in readers.**
Disclaimer: I received a complimentary copy of Secrets and Tears by Dori Lavelle for the purpose of an honest review.
Just when you think things can’t get any darker, Dori Lavelle released the second book in her Fatal Hearts Series.
In the first book, Secrets and Lace, I discovered I could hate a seemingly perfect man. In Secrets and Tears Miles proved himself totally depraved, reprehensible, and vile. I also believe he is completely unhinged and a criminal of the most abhorrent kind!
Ms. Lavelle has such a way with words that her characters become real. They leap off the page and into my imagination and refuse to give me a moment’s rest until I have consumed the entire book, which then leaves me hungry for the next book in the series!
I most definitely recommend you read Secrets and Tears by Dori Lavelle and give it five steaming hot cups of Room With Books coffee!
