CYBER-CRIME SERIES
by ANGELA FORD

Awesome Review by Romance Reviews Magazine!
This is an American FBI based romantic suspense. We’re given a female agent – a complex stalker, and a classic covert romance budding between fellow agents. Thankfully that’s not all the author has given the reader. The heroine, Jess, has emotional problems linked to her past. Her love interest, Tom, similarly has a past he would rather forget. Neither reveals their covert feelings for one another, and I rather liked the way the author enlightens the reader to their innermost thoughts. This could easily have turned into a tired old cliché plot of agents shooting their way through crisis after crisis, then falling in love and straight off to bed. Ms Ford, though, luckily spins a little magic into her story with a dead agent brought back to life. And so the plot thickens. But who is watching Jess besides a dead agent, and who is stalking her? The more Jess puzzles over gathered evidence the more she fears the outcome. What is worse, the killer knows her name. Ordered off the case, Jess retreats to a safe haven. Jess is far from safe. Tom is far from safe. And the hero of the day is far from the expected hero. Well done Ms Ford for putting a jolly good twist in this tale. As a debut novelist I sense Ms Ford’s writing will grow with each new book she undertakes to write.
CLOSURE (Book 1)
An elite FBI task force tracks online predators while they hunt their prey. A series of murders in Presario Heights has forced Special Agent Jessica Resario to follow her gut instinct to save the next victim. Supervisory Special Agent Tom Erickson removes her from the case. The only place to escape the danger is her family beach home. She hadn’t been there since her parents were murdered. The level of intensity climbs higher with her discovery of postcards marked “I Crave You”. Old ghosts, secrets, imminent threats and an inevitable attraction to Tom send her on an emotional roller coaster. If that wasn’t enough, she opens the door to a man she thought was dead. Tom is stabbed and his case files go missing…high emotions put Jess at the killer’s mercy.

Excerpt

Jess opened the file that held copies of the postcards. They were simple postcards of scenic views which could be found in any shop in the Vineyard. The backs of the postcards showed Jess’s name printed very neatly, and beside it was written, “I Crave You.” All three cards had the same quote, her name, no address and no postage stamp. They would have been placed under the door in person.
A cold chill ran up her spine. It was definitely not a prank from one of her friends; they had more class than that! She couldn’t recall anyone around her who was shy or might have a crush on her. Sandy and Billy, her closest summer friends, would definitely have told her if someone had a crush on her. She never even dated anyone from the village in the summers. It was a small village and everyone around her age had gone steady since they were about ten years old.
There was a boy she had dated in Washington her senior year, but it was never serious. They only dated for a few months before graduation and Jess ended it before she left for the beach home. He wanted to continue their relationship, but she was headed west and he was attending college in the east.
The three words, “I Crave You,” struck a nerve. Where had she heard those words? Jess couldn’t recollect if the words were used in the existing case, or if they were from her past.

FORBIDDEN (Book 2)
In this sequel to Closure, Agent Jessica Resario continues to deliver spine-chilling seminars about internet predators. A seminar one night introduces her to the Bennetts’. They believe their teenage daughter has a stalker and is in danger.
One desperate man forbids Jess to love another man. Another desperate man preys on a naïve teen. Both put Jess back in the line of fire and once again her life is put into the hands of a serial killer.

Excerpt

Startled from her thoughts, Jess turned and saw Tom in the doorway with a concerned look on his face. He walked closer to her and set a cup of tea on her desk.
“I thought you might need this.”
“Thanks Tom. You always know what I need. I love you so much.” She smiled and reached for his hand. Just his presence in the room warmed her from the cold chill she’d felt.
“I love you too.” He leaned down and kissed the top of her head. “Now spill it Jess. I know that look.”
She laughed at his remark. He knows me so well.
“I feel like I’m reading about Trevor stalking me. This girl is in trouble, Tom. She’s being stalked. I feel it in my gut.” Jess took a sip of her tea. The warmth and sweetness of that Earl Grey Cream was exactly what she needed to calm her.
“That look worries the heck out of me. But I learned a long time ago I can’t stop you.” Tom picked up her phone from the desk and handed it to her. “Call Mr. Bennett”
“At this time of the night?” Jess looked at her watch.
“If he’s as concerned as you believe, Jess, he’ll be awake.” Tom kissed her forehead and smiled.

OBSESSED (Book 3)

The FBI cybercrime series continues after Jess shoots Trevor Marshall in her kitchen. The man responsible for three murdered teens in the Bay area, her parents and her adopted daughter’s parents. Ten years before he stalked her without her knowledge. Her father kept it from her to protect her and sent her to the west coast for college. Marshall murdered her parents in his attempt to find her. Ten years later he’s successful but Jess is a compelled FBI profiler who hunts internet predators.
SSA Jessica Resario thought her life had settled; now there’s more at stake. She stepped down as the team’s leader to be with her family and SA Mike Turner is promoted. A postcard shows up on her doorstep with the same three words used by Marshall – I Crave You. Mike promises to discover how it was leaked from the sealed case. When another postcard turns up at Jess’s beach house, Mike takes the team to the east coast. Only half the team makes it to the beach house. Old ghosts, secrets and with more at stake; Jess is determined to end this obsession and protect her family.
Excerpt
Jess looked in that direction and something caught her attention. She tip-toed toward the door and discovered a postcard on the floor just inside the front door. Memories of the postcards crossed her mind as she bent down to pick it up. Her hand trembled as she read her name on the front of the post card. She turned it over slowly. A tear formed and hit her cheek as she read the words written on it. I Crave You.
The sudden jolt of shock that hit her at the front door led her to scream Tom’s name. The postcard fell from her hand. Tom came running from the bedroom. Jess’s scream woke everyone and they all met at the front door. Jess couldn’t speak but pointed to the welcome mat where the postcard lay. Those three words “I Crave You” could be read as plain as day. Tom reached for the postcard with horror; one of Vineyard Haven addressed to Jess with those three words just like the ones she’d received in the past.

Book One ~ P.I. ~ I Love You
Rivers don’t let rocks hold them back.
River Nightingale has decided to blow past the rocky men in her life. She’s played by the rules for too long—especially when it came to her career as a cop. She was the top closer of cases for years, but promotions in her small town cop shop went to her less productive male counterparts. River’s friends, three other women cops, are also ready to change careers. Together they leave behind their small towns, become their own bosses, and purchase a Seattle private detective agency.
Homicide Detective Gage Hamlin takes pride in his job; he closes cases and fosters justice. All that changed the day River Nightingale sauntered into his office. River has him questioning his pride, his cases, and his aversion to private detectives, especially beautiful private detectives.

River’s client thinks Gage got it wrong, and River is forced to prove Gage missed a murder. Will River and Gage find a way to play nice, or will River be forced to leave Gage behind?

1st EXCERPT
She put her mojito down on the coffee table, and stretched out on her sofa. Laptop on her lap desk, she switched it on, sipped on her mojito, and waited for the screen to come to life. She opened her favorites and clicked on Lady Cops. Chats were in full swing as she scrolled through to see what was happening.
“Hey River, what no hot date tonight?” Maile asked.
“Not hardly, Bear Creek is lacking in the hot date department. What about you?”
“I do have a date, with my newly purchased novel, print copy I might add.”
“Now that’s pitiful—a date with a book.” River giggled. “Are Cassie and Shay on-line?”
“Hey, I’m bored. Please tell me one of you ladies have something juicy to share,” Shay said.
“Have you been following the discussion on the shipment of guns intercepted here in Arizona? Not anywhere near me, of course,” Cassie said.
“Guns? At least there’s action where you live,” River said. “We had a herd of mountain goats on Main Street this week—that’s what qualifies for action in Bear Creek.”
“It’s all about your perspective. Mountain goats walking down a street in Prescott, Arizona would be news here.” Cassie laughed.
2nd EXCERPT
“Ah yes, River Nightingale is one of our primary investigators. She just happens to be in the office. If you would take a seat, I’ll ask if she can see you now.” She disappeared into the next room.
The receptionist returned moments later followed by a petite girl. She smiled directly at him, her blue eyes quickly tracking up and down his body. He nearly blushed. As she rounded the counter she held her hand out to him.
“Nice to meet you, Mr. Baxter, I’m River Nightingale. Cory tells me that Mike referred you?”
“Um, he did, but I understood you to be a seasoned policewoman,” Blake said. Geeze, she couldn’t be more than nineteen or twenty. Is this a joke? he wondered.
“Yes. I served in a police department in Montana for ten years and no, I’m not a teenager, I assure you. I happen to be in my mid-thirties.”
“I see. I’m sorry for my ill manners.”
“No worries, you’re not the first person who has thought that and certainly won’t be the last. My only hope is when I’m seventy, people will think I’m fifty.” She smiled at him again. “If you’re still interested in a P.I., I’m sure I can help you.”
“Yes, by all means, Ms. Nightingale.”

Book Two ~ Bare
Small town cop Shay Brooks leaves her charming safe community of Connell and moves to Seattle to open the Miss Demeanor PI Detective Agency. She’s thrown into the world of drugs, murder, and all the lies and unthinkable deeds the city draws. Renee Mills hires Shay to save her daughter. Renee believes her daughter, Beth, a straight-A student; dropped out of college to strip. Her mother blames the owner of the club and drugs. Shay goes undercover as a waitress at the club in hopes to save Beth and crack open a drug operation. An inevitable mutual attraction with the bartender, Dante Pierce, is a distraction. But is he involved in the drug operation?

“Careful with that one,” Shay said and startled her brother. She couldn’t believe how much she’d collected in four years, even after she’d sold most of her furniture. She wouldn’t need a houseful in her new apartment.
“This must be Grandma’s china in here,” her brother teased as he reached down for the box.
“My guns.”
Her brother rolled his eyes and laughed. “Figures. No wonder you can’t get a date.”
“Ha, ha, Ray the comedian. Everybody here is either married, in a relationship or old.”
“So you’re moving to Seattle for a man.”
Shay knew Ray loved to torment as most brothers did.
“I’m moving for a career, not for a man.” She made her point with her arms crossed. Silently she hoped that Seattle offered more choice than Connell.

Maile Kuhiwinui is tired of her dead end job as a police officer in Hilo, Hawai’i, so when she joins a group of lady cops on vacation and one proposes opening a detective agency in Seattle, Maile goes all in. She’s excited about the prospects Seattle offers, but after the grand opening of The Miss Demeanor Detective Agency, Maile finds herself sitting on the sidelines feeling inadequate while her three partners are hired to solve cases.
Kalama Haleamau considers himself a simple guy who loves to cook. When the wahine from the Big Island starts to hang out at his Happy Hawaiian Food Truck, he figures they’d make a pretty good pair and asks her to spend time with him.
When Maile finally gets her first case, she’s thrust into a world of refined deceit as she investigates the murder of a principal dancer at the Seattle Ballet. When she discovers Kalama’s murky association with the key suspects, she’s forced to separate her feelings for Kalama in order to identify the killer.
Lama whipped up a Spam loco moco. The smell of the rich brown gravy drew Maile into the kitchenette. “Thanks for showing me the skyline. It reminds me I live in a beautiful place. It’s not Hawai’i, but Seattle has its own charm.”
He turned from the stove and looked at her as if he adored her. On impulse, she wrapped her arms around his neck and kissed him until her lips ached.
When he released her, she helped herself to a beer.
“I thought you didn’t want to drink and drive.” Lama looked over his shoulder as he stirred the gravy.
“Who’s driving?” Maile smiled and raised her eyebrows.

Book Four ~ Golden Ribbons
Cassie Holmes has made a big change. She left sunny, warm Arizona and moved to Seattle to join three friends in a new endeavor. They started Miss Demeanor Private Detective Agency. She wants to carry an umbrella, but is told by people around her that to live in the Northwest means not using the dreaded thing.
Her first case involves the disappearance of a fourteen year old girl, Cami Reynolds. Her mother is desperate to find the young girl and, even though she doesn’t have much money, hires Cassie for the job. The new private detective finds a dark underworld lurks under the Via-duct that runs along the Seattle Waterfront. Some kids are used, some turn to prostitution, and others find solace in drugs.
In the process of her search, she meets Jack Donovan, a undercover detective connected to a Seattle drug task force. He’s six-foot-four and tries to be an imposing presence in her life. He appears to her as a homeless man, but she knows he’s a cop and as the two compare notes, discover their cases criss-cross paths.
After a rocky beginning, the two begin to work side by side to take down one of the worst child prostitution rings in the Northwest.

“What’s your name?”
“Cassandra Holmes. You?”
“Miss Holmes, you might as well give up. You’re chasing a lost cause.”
Cassie wanted to give this guy a swift-kick. “God, Mr. Negative, who died and made you the expert? Do you work vice?”
“No, drug task force, and I know these streets. Your girl is probably in Bangkok by now.”
“She was seen here just last Friday. What do you know about Sally Skinner?” Cassie felt ready to pull her Glock out and shoot him in the foot.
“Sally Skinner works for Fred and Rick Powell, two of the biggest drug traffickers in the Northwest. Fred’s hobby is prostitution—the younger the better. The guy’s sick.”
“One of this kid’s friends said she was being watched by some guy named Fred. I’ve heard of the Powells. I worked drugs down in Arizona…”
“Yeah, if those pansy-asses down in Arizona and Texas kept the doors closed to Juarez and Nogales, we wouldn’t have this situation up here.”
“Focus, please. Where can I find Sally Skinner?”
He leaned against the dumpster and stared, again. She wanted to slap him across the cheek just to wake him up.

Book Two ~ Christmas Treasure
A small town where everyone knows everyone’s business prepares for the holiday season. It’s not just Noelle’s secret that places Annie and Noelle in harm’s way but a secret from within her own treasured town. Will the town pull together for the holidays despite what secrets linger?
Annie Dixon devised a plan with her friends the year before to buy the local tree farm. Her plan to entice Ryder Harris to stay in Glenville also worked. They just announced their ‘I do’s’. But with the busy holiday seasons ahead, Annie and her friends are swamped. They need help. The Life Bridge program is their answer. They will take on four women from a shelter in the city as interns and lodge them at the farm.
Annie takes Noelle Matheson under her wing at the flower shop. Noelle has a hidden talent for flower arrangements but also a hidden secret that Annie wants to uncover. A sudden romance buds between Noelle and Annie’s childhood friend, Ashton Norris. Annie hopes Noelle’s secret won’t leave Ashton broken-hearted again.

“Flowers for all Seasons, this is Annie, how may I help you?”
She laughed with Ryder’s comment. “Your lips on mine would be a great start.”
“As soon as you get back home, I promise they will be.”
He told her he had one more stop for Colton and then would be on his way back but wanted to give her an update of his visit to the diner Noelle had worked at.
“Did you find out anything?” Annie’s curiosity built up. She hoped she was wrong that Noelle had a deep dark secret. Especially now that she’d hooked up with Ashton; she didn’t want him to get hurt again. His fiancée did a number on him a couple of years ago. He hadn’t dated since. It had been the talk of the town until last year’s incident at the resort when Ryder arrested the resort’s manager for money laundering, along with his head of security.
“The owner of the diner, Marg Peterson, was very helpful. But I wasn’t the only one at the diner looking for Noelle today.”
“Who else was looking for her?” Annie pulled out the stool and took a seat. This only proved her instincts were right about Noelle. Something wasn’t right.

Book Four ~ Sadie’s Santa
Sadie Wilden needs a fresh start, so when the women’s shelter administrator invites her to participate in a new program designed to safely house battered women and teach them a new job skill, she’s all in. If everything goes right, she’ll meet the social services requirements on time and be reunited with her baby—that is, if the police locate and arrest her ex.
Sadie won’t put her daughter in harm’s way, no matter how much she misses her. She just has to lay low and do a good job at her new intern position.
When Gus Sadler, an investigative reporter from Seattle, shows up at her workplace, Sadie’s leery of his intentions—after all, it was the media that leaked information that put her baby in harm’s way.
Gus is drawn to Sadie right away, but he’ll have to work double time to earn her trust. Can he set aside his inclination to investigate her background or will he jeopardize his chances by digging into her past?

Gus was quiet—too darned quiet. Sadie wondered if she’d done something wrong but she couldn’t think of anything. She really liked Gus, even if he was a reporter.
He pulled into a parking spot and turned off the engine. “You know I don’t even know your last name.”
“Wilden. Sadie Angelica Wilden.” There. She’d told him. Now to tell him the rest. She opened her mouth to speak, but when she felt Gus’ hand cup her chin, she leaned into him for the kind of kiss she’d waited for all night.

It was thoughtful of Aubri’s boss to send her anywhere in the world for a Christmas gift. As the buyer for her department store, if Aubri traveled to Germany she could kill two birds. She’d find clever, unique German gifts while enjoying the sites. Aubri’s mind was focused on work…that was, until she met Ryker. She was looking for nutcrackers and not a ruggedly handsome German who wanted to ask her out.
After finding himself blinded in a fall, Ryker spent most of his time working at his family’s old world Christmas shop. His family loyalty ran deep and they needed him. Between his long work hours, he knew that it was twelve hundred cobblestones between his shop and the town square. Getting around town with little assistance and work was all he needed, or that’s what he thought until he met Aubri.
Come for a fun filled holiday ride across the German countryside to see if Aubri and Ryker find that being out your comfort zone can also bring you love.

“Since we’re being truthful, I’m not beautiful…so, sorry to disappoint you.”
“Are you kidding me? The last thing I am is disappointed. You’re funny, smart, and know lots about your company and your business. You’re right, I can only tell that you have dark hair, a big fluffy scarf, and soft hands. I can’t picture someone until I can imagine their face.”
“How do you imagine them?”
Ryker drew his glove slowly off his hand and scooted close. “I can only imagine someone’s face if I touch it. Can I touch yours?”
“Yes.” She nodded.
He cupped her cheek. Gently, like the brush of a butterfly’s wing, he drew his index finger over her eyebrow, across her eye, cheek and then down across her lips. He continued slowly up the other side as though he was mapping each inch. His touch was one of the most stirring and sensual things Aubri had ever felt.
He smiled faintly. “Now, I know what you look like…and you lied, you are beautiful.”

Book Two ~ In Love With Paris
by Sharon Kleve
Paget Murphy doesn’t expect to find love in Paris for the holidays, until she bumps into a handsome stranger at the airport. He is everything she has ever wanted in a man—kind, generous, and he loves art as much as she does!
Christopher Paris can’t believe his luck when he bumps into a beautiful stranger. He is a curator at the Louvre and that is where Paget intends to spend most of her time in Paris. He plans to occupy every free moment with her—running, eating, and making love.
With a continent separating them, will they find a way to spend the most memorable holiday together—Christmas?

One of the airport gift shops displayed the New York Times latest book releases and my favorite romance author, Susan Couple’s, Love Comes for the Holidays sat front and center of the rack. The hardcover displayed a large Christmas tree filled with lights, ornaments and a breathtakingly gorgeous couple kissing in front of a fireplace. I grabbed a copy and clutched it to my chest and rushed to counter. As the clerk rang up the book, I added a large bag of M&M’s. What could be better than chocolate and a good romance novel? Susan Couple would probably say a sexy man, but there was a shortage of those in my life.
That’s when it hit me, the woman that got out of that rude man’s car looked exactly like the photo on the back cover of Love Comes for the Holidays. Sharp, silver-blue eyes stared out from her chiseled, small oval face topped with short, spiky jet-black hair. Holy cripes, Susan Couple was here at the airport.
As I turned with the book still clutched to my chest and I bumped into a wall, well not a wall, but a solid mass of muscle that smelled of some wonderful, smoky, exotic scent. He gently grabbed my shoulders but he didn’t let go when I looked up into his enchanted, lash-fringed, green eyes. His perfectly chiseled jaw looked like something Michelangelo would have carved himself.
Pardon.” His sultry, rich, baritone voice made my stomach flutter.
If I stepped two inches closer I’d be wrapped in his strong arms. I immediately stepped back. What was I thinking? This gorgeous guy was a complete stranger.
Sharon Kleve was born and raised in Washington and currently lives on the Olympic Peninsula with her husband.
Sharon is a multi-published author of paranormal and contemporary romance. She loves romance. She loves reading romance, living romance, and especially loves writing about romance. Sharon gets no greater feeling than watching her characters come alive in each other’s arms. Most of all, she loves giving her characters the happily ever after they deserve—with a few bumps and bruises along the way.
One of her favorite things to do is pick-up a new book and sinking into the story, immersing herself in the emotions between the characters. She hopes to inspire her readers the same way her favorite authors inspired her.
When not writing, she can usually be found either curled up in her recliner with her cat and a good book, or in the kitchen baking sourdough bread or bagels.

Book Three ~ Christmas in Tuscany
by Angela Ford
What’s pleasure without a mix of business? That’s how Erika thinks and that’s how she succeeds. Erika Mason is a workaholic. She admits it. But when her boss offers her a trip of a lifetime instead of her regular bonus, she books a wine tour in Tuscany. He makes her promise it’s for pleasure and not business. But Erika has studied the Tuscan Christmas markets and with her new wine shop paired with chocolates; it’s exactly where she needs to go.
Then she meets her tour guide, Massimo Conte. His delicious chocolate brown eyes enriched with his Italian accent takes business out of her equation. After one passionate night Erika wonders if she’s been a fool. Massimo confesses of his drunken night the month before at his brother’s hotel with a woman he doesn’t love. She’s announced she’s pregnant.
Two people fall in love. Two others have fooled them into believing the pregnant woman. A family affair interrupts Christmas plans. Until one mother is determined to uncover which brother is actually the father so she can mend broken hearts and set the table for Christmas.

“A fascinating beautiful woman you are, Erika.” He moved his chair to sit beside her and then reached for her hand. He lifted it to his lips and left a gentle kiss. “I’ve waited for the woman of my dreams to appear and here you are.” His words definitely confirmed her suspicion of a mutual attraction. Unless, she wondered; his words were part of an act to get her into his bed. Her promise to hold off a relationship until she found the one she’d spend her life with was suddenly filed at the back of her brain. Even if this turned out to be a fling, it would remain as memorable as the wine tour. She nervously chuckled.
“I bet you say that to all the girls.”
He joined her laughter. “That didn’t come out quite the way I’d expected. It wasn’t an attempt to get you into my bed. Trust me. I’m not that guy. That would be my brother.”
Darn! I was just imagining how great a lover you’d be.

Book Four ~ Twice As Nice Christmas
by Natalie-Nicole Bates
Jade Edmonds, an accessories buyer for an upscale department store, is forced by her kind hearted boss to take a Christmas vacation. She decides to visit the Bulgarian home she purchased on a whim, sight unseen from the internet. What starts off as a dream vacation soon turns into a nightmare of events including turbulent flights with screaming babies, snow storms, and a house that is not quite what Jade imagined.
But there is one constant bright spot. It seems wherever Jade finds trouble, charming London-living, English interpreter, Damyon Vadkov, is always there to help. The two spend a magical month in Bulgaria, and love is in the air. Their separation looms large as the couple need to return to their lives in separate countries. Will this be the end, or just the beginning?

I still can’t believe what I’ve shared with this man I’ve only known for less than a week. Yet it seems we’ve been together for the ages. Maybe there really is something to past lives, and those lives and the people from them intersecting with the present. Or perhaps that’s all just whimsy, and our meeting was Fate, or merely chance.
All I know for sure is I am happy that we did meet. Then that little voice in my head tells me to not get attached to Damyan. That any time now we will separate and all that will remain are the memories. I know that’s what I wanted, but now, I’m not sure. I’ve never met such a kind and decent man. I will be reluctant to leave him behind.
But oh what a vacation he has given to me so far, and though we’ve not spoken about Christmas, I’m hoping we’ll spend it together – maybe even both celebrations. The traditional December 25 date, and the January 7 Orthodox Christmas.
How totally divine! Christmas celebrated two times. Twice as nice!

Ella Medler is a U.K. author and free-lance editor. She writes fiction in more than one genre in a seemingly vain attempt to slow down her overactive brain enough to write non-fiction on subjects she knows a thing or two about. She also does not believe in the starchy use of English and ignores the type of rule that doesn’t allow for a sentence to be finished in a preposition. Her books – whatever genre they may be – are action-driven. Well-developed, multi-layered characters are her forte.
Loves: freedom.

Although born in New Orleans, Cherime MacFarlane am proud to call myself an Alaskan. I have lived here since 1977. I have seen -40 degrees, hauled water, made bear bacon and I live in a cabin. I have used a fishwheel to catch salmon coming up the Copper River. I was my second husband’s chief mechanic’s helper and roadie. I have cut firewood on shares. I worked as a cocktail waitress during pipeline days in a small lodge on the Richardson Highway.
My second husband, a Scot from Glasgow, was the love of my life. When I write Scots dialect, I personally experienced hearing it from my in laws. When my husband got on the phone to Scotland, after 5 seconds I could barely understand a word.
We moved to Wasilla to get warm. It barely drops past -25 degrees here in the winter. I became a paralegal and worked for over 26 years for the same firm.
Alaska is my home. I never thought I would love it so much, I never want to leave. The beauty of Alaska is a draw I cannot resist. I love the people and the history. I have been captured by a place I came to under duress. Life does play some interesting tricks on one. My love and I were not apart more than 24 hours for 20 plus years. I never wanted to be anywhere but with him. He was a man to run the river with and was my biggest fan.
